If I lead Madame G's using only double length slings, and I fall, will I fall double the distance?

This question makes zero sense. Why would a double length sling double the distance of a leader fall?

Only if you're using double ropes.

Yes, you would because you'd fall twice.

Come on, now. This is a serious discussion.

Unless you're referring to bouncing. I could see falling, decking with a good bounce, then falling again. Frequently the case with double length slings.

You would fall further but not because of the slings, but because of that particular climb. Madame G's has greater "G" forces than other climbs.

I don't use slings most of the time. I stopped using them after I fell a little too far one time. I do a lot of down climbing to remove gear to remove rope drag, and then I may put some slings. There is no need to take those longer falls with slings.

If you climb Double-issima with double ropes and double slings, you will actually fall 8 times as far.

This is why you should never climb with half length slings - you just won't fall far enough.

You might want to look up the definitions of facetious, parody, and satire.

Crackers isn't a troll... but sometimes the smell of fresh NWD and lack of sleep makes him a little loopy.
