you are right terrie, i would volunteer for something like that! dont mean to sound like a grump. just feeling frustrated that many uninterested parents might not introduce their kids to the wonders of the gunks, a booth at an event like that may help.

It depends of course. But generally, if after a little background review it looks like the organization is disrespectful and dishonorable, if deception is common practice in their interactions with others, then no.

Rock the Ridge raised over $100,000 for the Mohonk Preserve!

I did the course just shy of 16 hrs (walked mostly). It was a remarkably beautiful day - and to walk and see the multiple view points and the Ridge in all its glory was absolutely memorable.

Way to go, Mim. I enjoyed the photos sent out by the non-profit group of you and others. I am tempted to say it looks like fun, but there is no way all of it was. Still, a great way to enjoy ALL of the preserve.
