John Turner has passed away. If his name is not familiar to you, look the Adirondacks guide book, especially the Pok-O-Moonshine section. Turner also did the FFAs of Thin Slabs Direct, Glypnod, Emilio, and Alphonse, and some classic routes in the Bugaboos.

The man was a giant! Such great routes and in such a short career. Most of my Daks climbing has been on his routes, Hesitation, Partition, Gamesmanship, Bloody Mary...
