Also looking for beta on local climbing/bouldering. Doesnt matter how chossy or bad. Ive got a baby on the way, we're 3 days past due date, and I need a fix thats close to home.

check out www.newenglandbouldering.com and get directions to Haycock. It's a pretty cool place to boulder.

Haycock has some good bouldering, don't tell anyone, but I actually had some first acsents there. I'm not too proud of the fact. The main developer of the area has self-published a guide to the area. I know its available at the Adventure Center in Doylestown. Haycock is just north of Noxiamixin (sp?) lake in Bucks County. You can ask the people that work there about it. A lot of those people put up the problems. Ask around in gyms about a bouldering wall. I think there is toproping in Wissahikon park but never actually been there. There are also bolted climbs under Henry Ave. bridge, if you can stand the smell of piss, also near Wissahikon.

I'm in Wilmington, DE, have wall, always looking to climb. Also, try Cliffhangers in Reading for some good bouldering and routes. It is about 45 minutes from Avondale. drop me a note at mccallew@delanet.com if interested in local info. There is pretty good bouldering within 15 minutes of you. Later

In the little town of Birdsboro you can find some good sport climbs (5.8 to 5.12) by the quarry. Most are 30 to 45 ft, but there is a wall thats close to 75 ft. I managed to find one site with pictures of Birdsboro:

I noticed that Cliffhangers was mentioned, and it is a great gym.
