Some names are appearing showing Green... can't find anything the FAQ about green.

It seems that forum moderators have colored monikers.

I see both GV and Dizz green. I asked because they weren't listed in as moderators so I wasn't sure.

Both GeeVee and I are moderators for the new Gunks Climbers' Coalition Forum. If you want to access it, go up to the top of your screen and you'll see "You Are: Home>>Discussion" in the sorta orange band. Click the Discussion button and you'll get all the different forums to which you have access.

The GCC Forum will the be the place where everyone can have input and participate in a discussion about the GCC, post announcements, etc.. I hope that everyone takes advantage of this feature and joins in discussions.

Oh yeah, I'm using "the blues" color scheme, so the names turn white on rollover, and the green names really clash

I've tried "the blues", "default", and "gunks colors" color schemes and Dizzy is green and GeeVee is black in all of them. What gives?

I would think it would be Iris Hare (who is not currently Here) who would be green , in particular after too many wings. (and too much whisky, of course)

I did a bit more "research." Dizzy is green on poster listings and within thread listings. GeeVee is black on poster listings and green within thread listings. In this way, Strat and I could both be correct. This must mean that Dizzy has some occult status that GeeVee doesn't have. I'll let conspiracy theorists take it from there.

Edited to note that I see myself as green both in Poster and thread.

A bit more research cleared up the mystery. Since GeeVee did not post until very recently, all of his posts in the "search results" lists were dated before his "elevation". Dizzy's pre-elevation posts had that moniker in black in the "search results" lists. GeeVee's latest post had a green moniker - he and Dizzy have equal status in this regard. Congratulations GeeVee, now you're really a Pooh-Bah!
