The Minsi closure has been lifted as of Aug. 1st. Climbing is now allowed. More info about the status for next year will be posted soon. The climbers did a great job in the closure and the Park is very happy.

Has anyone been up there yet? I was just wondering if the birds are still around, on Osprey. That has to be one of the scariest 5.6's ever, meeting an irate falcon mid-way up wouldn't improve things. Nor would finding even an abandoned nest on those well needed ledges.
On a related thought, if they did sucessfully breed, doesn't that mean that there'll be even more nests next year, possibly on the NJ side too.

one would think so, hopefully.

They did not breed this year. Possibly because the fledgling was too young.
