Keith, the website says about marathon distance so could be 25-27 miles.

it was gps'd to trapps bridge back in august at 17.2. the back side came in at 8 miles to lake mohonk and return to brahaus. probably will come in around 26 with sky top & tower thrown in. for what it's worth some folks last year did a half, either front side or back side. both make great runs in their own right...some are planning that again this year. since it is a fun run and no one really cares, anything goes. last years times ranged from a little over 4 hours to about 8. most of us stop for breaks at the many sights along the way.jump in if you like and see how it goes... no pressure, but i've found it to be a great opportunity to meet other trail runners and have learned a lot from them...plus some are real characters

Keith, you should jump in like Felix suggests. Do whatever distance feels comfortable, you will get to meet potential running partners and maybe see trails you have not been on before.
Plus, if you do the latter part to the finish you get to enjoy beer and food grin

Sounds good i may do that the second half with the beer and food sounds like a good finish to a day in the gunks!

What a great day to be out running (or climbing)! Apart from the waterlogged trail at the Sam's Point end the footing was good, the trees were in full colour, and scrambles up Giant's Workshop and the Crevice mixed up the carriage paths and singletrack.

Finishing at the Brauhaus was just perfect!
