How do i post?

Im new to this site so sorry that I may be going about this wrong. But how can I post questions in other areas? Or is that restricted? Was trying to post in the other climbing sections. Can someone assist me?

Looks like new users can only post in certain forums. This is a new test account. Can post here and in general, but not routes or climbing gear for example. Can't even see some forums - local issues for one.

I also tried posting in General, but received a message that a moderator has to approve it first. That was yesterday, and still waiting. Not sure what I need to do to get on the "good" list so I can actually ask some questions and get some advice. Discussion board doesn't seem that much fun if I can't discuss.

We would hate to see a smileygirl start to frown! C'mon moderators.
