I just received and email from Petzl and they are going to have up grades for the Nomic Ice Tool. They will have hammer, adze and a new bottom finger guard with a spike.
My Nomic top finger rest broke and I emailed them and they say its under warranty. They also told me about the upgrades. From what they said the hammer/adze will be like the pick for the Camp Ice Tool. One piece.
Now it's fully an alpine tool.
